Ok, this weekend I drove up to Parkersburg to stay with my non related “family”, also rented 2 movies. This entry is for “Disturbia” and I was highly “disturbed” and “disappointed” by the lack of suspense with this movie. As the trailers would have you think otherwise, this movie is like watching a plant grow from a seed. I will say the suspense was GREAT for the time allotted in the movie, which for me seemed to be only the last 30-40 minutes. Now I’m a man and of course I do not mind seeing beautiful actresses being drooled over by guys, but NOT for the entire first half of the movie!! The movie started off strong with the first 10 minutes then I think went to crap for the next 30-40. The ending was nice and suspenseful, David Morse makes a wonderful non emotional bad guy. If you want to make a nice thriller / suspense you don’t have 40 minutes of guys drooling over a girl next door. I give this movie a 5 out of 10.
