I like to cook sometimes when I am not feeling too lazy. Last night I was going to make some simple butter noodles to bring to work for a birthday. On the way home, I wondered what I would eat for dinner, and being the lazy bachelor that I am, I decided to eat some noodles. While thinking of eating noodles, I thought to myself, “That’s just not enough, what about some chicken with the noodles”. Now I have a plan well some sort of plan, ends up I boiled 3 frozen chicken breasts in a pot while the water was boiling for the noodles (4 packages of butter noodles). I took the chicken out soon and sliced it up into small thin slices and put them back to boiling to cook. After that I continued to pour in the noodles and mix, once I had the noodles stirred into the mix, I took the “cooked” pieces of chicken and added them to the noodles. Continued to cook the noodles as listed on the instructions, stirring moderately until cooked which was about 7-10 minutes. If I must say myself it was very delicious and I received my compliments from the coworkers that enjoyed savoring the flavor.

8 cups of water
1 tablespoon scoop of butter
4 packages of butter noodles
3 frozen boneless chicken breasts

A meal fit for a king for less than $10.

Next time I am going to put the noodles/chicken into a glass dish after being cooked and cover with about 1/4 inch of shredded cheddar cheese and bake until the cheese is melted. Now THAT should be TASTY!!!
